This disease is loosing your memories, as well as having your brain actually shrink! It is crazy to think about, but if you have Alzheimers, day by day our brain is getting smaller. You are the same person, but watching someone with Alzheimers loose what they once knew, can be heartbreaking.

 

    Alzheimers is a huge issue in America, and the disease is rapidly passing through generations. "Alzheimers disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined." A fact from the Alz. Association says, about the epidemic. This says a lot about how many people are getting the disease day by day, and we can almost do nothing about it. But can we? I feel like there is something that CAN make a change though. Strength. Unity. Love. If we use the power of those three things and the people, we can make a difference. We may not be scientists who know how to unlock the mysteries of the mind and why, why this disease exists, but we are supporting the idea of a cure. With the money we have raised, and the money being raised now, it is getting closer and closer to finding the destination to the end of the epidemic.
